BestBenefit Plan
Pets Best plans for your dog or cat covers accidents, illnesses, surgeries, cancer and other unexpected incidents. This plan is called BestBenefit Accident and Illness Plan. With this plan, it pays for your actual veterinary bill for unexpected incidents. But because pets are all unique, this plan can be customized for your pet's needs and budget. To give you an idea of the types of coverage this plan has:
Accidents: broken bones, poisoning, car accidents, lacerations or others that result in surgery.
Illnesses: cancer, diabetes, allergies, arthritis, skin/ear infections, UTI and epilepsy
Hereditary & Congenital Conditions: hip and elbow dysplasia, luxating patella, cherry eye, IVDD, Wobbler Syndrome, glaucoma and more
Emergency Care: see any license vet including emergency centers and specialist including pre-anesthesia tests
Prescription Medicine: covers all types of medication that your vet prescribes

Note that while BestBenefits does cover a wide range of incidents, there are some that have to be excluded such as but not limited to:
Pre-Existing Conditions: any types of illness or injury that happened before your coverage starts
Parasites: testing and treatment and even prevention of parasites are not included. this coverage can be found in Pet's Best BestWellness Plan (see below)
Non-Veterinary Expenses: anything that is non-vet related
Elective & Preventive Procedures: anal gland expression, tail docking, ear cropping, nail trimming. this coverage can be found in their BestWellness Plan
Herbal/Holistic/Experimental: chiropratic/acupuncture/cold laser therapy, physical therapy ARE COVERED
