The "Aussie" is one of the smallest in the Terrier Group. They are very loyal, intelligent, loveable, amusing and makes an excellent watchdog. They have very keen haring and eyesight and will be very protective over their immediate family. They love to please their master and can be easily trained in obedience school. This breed likes to bark, though is not snappish. They are a very economical breed to feed.

The Australian Terrier has the courage of a much larger dog and has boundless energy. It shows great affection and makes a protective companion. This breed is good with children as long as there is no teasing involved. This is a good dog to travel with and can learn very easily. They get along with other dogs as well as other pets.
